Job description for consultant

  1. Preparation and review of financial statements, schedules, notes, cashflows etc for multiple entities in ME
  2. Ensure the statutory compliances time to time
  3. Coordinate with statutory auditors for timely closure of audit and provide required information time to time
  4. Work with audit team in planning the audits, execution and closure.
  5. Communicate audit progress to superiors on regular basis.
  6. Work with audit managers to analyze and resolve audit issues in a timely manner.
  7. Prepare audit findings and recommendations to management.
  8. Ensure that audit files are reviewed and stored in the department’s audit repository
  9. Ensure that operational and financial procedures are in compliance with corporate policies.
  10. Assist in developing audit programs and maintain up-to-date knowledge about audit tools and techniques.
  11. Participate in audit meetings and build positive working relationships with Auditors.
  12. Provide data analytical support to audit department.
  13. Support in day to day accounting works.
  14. Present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team
  15. Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents
  16. Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
  17. Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations

Qualifications:

  1. Extensive Auditing knowledge
  2. Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  4. Strong knowledge of compliances and procedures.
  5. Familiarity with group and local reporting requirements.
  6. Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
  7. Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members.
  8. Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.
  9. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  10. We are looking for a candidate with 10 to 15 years of experience in Auditing and reporting of financial accounts. Preferred candidates have  CA semi qualification. The candidate must be proficient with the following software/tools: Strong skills and experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, & Power point
