This position will be on Ramboll’s innovation and digital transformation team Galago. Galago is an innovative service born out of Ramboll that aims to help reduce the risk of environmental damage and human health.

As our new Dashboard/Reporting Analyst (Federal), you will be part of a team that assists our clients with their data analysis and visualization needs, creating custom data workflows, building interactive dashboards, and developing bespoke applications for solving practical problems. We are a small team of technical experts, looking for someone to come in and help us deliver consistent and engaging analysis and tools for our clients.

You will join our Environment & Health department

As our new Dashboard/Reporting Analyst (Federal), you will be part of a team that utilizes critical thinking skills and contributes to creating web mapping applications, report documents, and client-specific deliverables. The successful Analyst will be able to work independently, thrive in a team-environment, and be a technical GIS resource for project managers and staff. Data management, presentation development, data analysis, and spatial calculations are frequent needs. This role also includes opportunities to present your findings directly to clients and project teams. You may also play a role in strategically refining existing GIS applications, and suggesting additional, practical and beneficial uses.

Key position requirements are:

  • Experience in Analytics and BI platforms, such as Qlik Sense and Power BI
  • Experience developing in Python
  • Experience in data analysis and exploration
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Ability to work on multiple deliverables at the same time, while maintaining organization and efficiency
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to interact with and present to others
  • Travel 5-10%
  • US citizenship (required to obtain Department of Defense Common Access Card)

Beneficial additional skills include:

  • DAX and M programming experience within Power BI
  • Familiarity with developing and deploying ArcGIS Experience Builder web apps
  • JavaScript development
  • Experience web scraping using the Selenium testing framework
  • Experience developing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) pipelines
  • Experience with geospatial tools such as ESRI ArcGIS
  • Familiarity with project management platforms
  • Previous experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers
  • Master’s degree preferred
