Feasibility studies

Feasibility studies provide an evaluation of the potential success of a project – in terms of both its technical and financial aspects. Ramboll uses feasibility studies as an analytical tool during the deliberation phase of a project cycle.
Ramboll’s expertise also covers evaluation of the potential success of a project both in financial and technical terms

A feasibility study contains conclusions and recommendations based on a number of techno-economic analyses, models and simulations. We always offer our customers several scenarios to provide the most informed basis for decision making. The study may include:

  • Short, medium and long-term development scenarios
  • Environmental investigations or Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)
  • Socioeconomic market analyses
  • Cost-benefit analyses
  • Other helpful analysis tools based on customer demands and requirements

Ramboll provides the offshore industry with feasibility studies for projects such as the construction of onshore and offshore pipelines and platforms, dispatching and receiving terminals, tank farms, underground gas storage facilities, and refineries.
