Environmental management provides us with a summary view of environmental issues. It gives us a clear picture of the impact an organisation has on the environment, and suggests ways to make improvements.

Environmental management enables an organisation to effectively monitor their consumption of energy and raw materials, which can significantly reduce costs. Not only is environmental management about complying with the law. It is also about the way we tackle environmental issues – ethically and with a sense of social responsibility. And, of course, it is about creating a good image.

Simple and customised solutions

We have worked on projects with both public and private companies. We help our customers create, implement, audit and certify management systems in the fields of energy, the environment and occupational health and safety. Our aim is to develop simple, tailored solutions for our customers. We provide consultancy on environmental management according to the international standard ISO 14001 and to European regulation EMAS II, as well as occupational health and safety management, according to DS/OHSAS 18001.

Employee involvement

To help organisations and companies create and implement environmental management systems, we make sure employees are involved as much as possible. Consultancy within environmental management is multidisciplinary and includes a series of related topics:

Environmental management is a multidisciplinary service, so we work closely with our environmental specialists in other divisions of Ramboll. We also take part in environmental management systems in other projects, for example within construction, public building and infrastructure.
