Holistic Planning model

Creating sustainable, liveable and smart cities

Striving for more sustainable, liveable and smart cities, we are in particular focusing on concepts and solutions that combat the impacts of climate change on cities. We are internationally recognised for our role in developing the Copenhagen Climate Plan and for bringing the Copenhagen Cloudburst plan to life as well as through a number of award winning projects from all over the world.

Our holistic service includes Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl’s advanced competences in landscape architecture, environmental engineering and urban hydrology, which are applied to the development of liveable and resilient public spaces that integrate natural systems. The studio’s internationally-renowned portfolio includes the blue-green infrastructure for Bishan Park in Singapore and Potsdammer Blatz in Berlin.

Through Ramboll’s Liveable Cities Lab (LCL), we remain at the forefront of driv-ing the liveable city agenda. Through ground-breaking research, urban design masterclasses and initiation projects, LCL facilitates knowledge exchange with leading universities, research institutes, cities and private organisations.
