From absence to presence in Holbaek

In a large-scale organisational development project that runs until the summer of 2012, Holbæk Municipality is seeking new ways to reduce the costly sickness related absence in collaboration with Ramboll Management Consulting. The project involves all 5000 employees in Holbæk Municipality from top management to day care workers. All ready, the municipality have seen a dramatic drop in absence leading to a 14 million DKK saving in 2011 alone.

Results and efficiency in the City of Stockholm

With app. 40 000 employees serving 860 000 citizens the City of Stockholm is one of the largest public sector administrations in Sweden. The City has a strong efficiency agenda with focus on spending the public foundings wisely. During the last years, Ramboll has been an important partner in this work and carried out various assignments in order to support and develop with performance management and lean management within the administration. The cooperation covers most of the areas, such as social work, elderly care, child care, education, culture etc.
