A means to succeeding with implementation of cloudburst plans for the municipalities of Copenhagen and Frederiksberg is the use of SUDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems) for infiltration of rainwater. The purpose of the project was to evaluate the consequences of increased storm water infiltration to the surrounding areas, including changes in groundwater levels and quality.
Ramboll is the lead consultant on a comprehensive project on establishing of a new treatment plant in the city of Skellefteå which ensures high-quality drinking water to all inhabitants.
As a leading consultant in water and environment Ramboll has carried out a large portion of the Danish National Groundwater Mapping Programme which comprises multidisciplinary hydrogeological projects.
Stockholm is growing, therefore the sanitation sewers will over the coming years undergo the biggest transformation of our time. As part of the project, Ramboll has been assigned the task to manage the process- and machine projection as well as project coordination of the site extension of the Henriksdal wastewater treatment plant. The contract is worth 24 million SEK and will run through 2015 and 2016.
