Management Accountant / Reporting Controller

Job Description

Do you wish to play a crucial part in ensuring transparency and insight in the launch of our new global support organisation? We are searching for a person to drive development and delivery of our monthly reporting to stakeholders and our executive team for the global support organisation with a budget of 200 MEUR and close to 800 employees worldwide. The position will be located in Espoo, Finland, but be part of a RSO Cost Controlling – an global team working across the Ramboll with cost controlling globally. The department consist of 15 employees spread across Denmark, Finland, UK, Germany and India. Some travel time must be expected in this role.

Job contents
 

The primary part of the role initially will be to ensure monthly management and stakeholder reporting  and drive the development of the reporting and business intelligence setup in collaboration with functional partners, the finance director and the global leadership team.

Job content consists of but is not limited to:


•        Driving development and automation of the reporting setup 

•       Ensuring quality in and timely delivery of reporting on cost levels, cost allocations, impacts on business units and key performance indicators to leadership team and governance boards

•        Driving development of flow and quality of data sources for reporting

•        Testing quality of postings in both P&L and Balance Sheets

•        Decision support to the Executive Management team

•        Participating in development of central business intelligence work and setup

You will be working with numerous controllers and finance partners to coordinate consolidated reporting for business reviews and stakeholder communication. You will have a colleague in the RSO Cost Controlling Team situated in Espoo.

Ramboll Support Organisation (RSO) is a very new global business unit focused on establishing a platform for growth and supporting the business and the new strategy towards 2020. The business consist of the support functions IT, Facility Management, Communication, Finance, HR and Legal totalling 800 employees (so far) and spend of 200 MEUR. 
Typical assignments would be to drive development of the reporting in dialogue with leadership team and partners, ensure deadlines for reporting are kept, providing input for different reports and presentations, working with developing reporting tools (e.g. Power Pivot and Power BI) for more automated and integrated reporting solutions with the reporting systems team.

We expect from you
 

We expect you to have a B.Sc. + Diploma, M.Sc. or similar and have minimum 3 years of controlling related experience preferably good knowledge of management reporting, reporting tools, controlling and accounting.

It is an advantage if you have worked with development of reporting systems and setups before and you must be able to be proactive and collaborating with the rest of the team as well as the other functional teams on developing systems, reports and processes. Your working language will be primarily English and it is expected that you handle cultural differences well.

You need to be driven and be proactive and not afraid to sometime go beyond your role when needed.
