UX intern with ambitions to apply UX to all types of projects

Ramboll Denmark is looking for a talented, passionate intern with analytical skills, the ability to apply own skills and with a user centric mindset to a broad range of projects and assignments.

As intern in Ramboll Denmark you will be provided with real-world experiences on how user centric approaches can make a difference in the wide range of services, that we provide. Besides the experience in using UX within a multidisciplinary company of expertise and services, you will also be able to influence Ramboll to understand the potential in design thinking – allowing us to better serve our customers.
Your responsibilities as UX intern
As UX intern you will help us create a better user experience on some of our applications for both mobile and web. You will use your knowledge on how to understand users to create concepts for co-creation and new ways of collaborating with our clients.
Some of your job assignments could be:
- Collect and analyze user behavior
- User test
- Plan and conduct workshops with users. Based on principles within user centered design
- Communicate findings
- Create user scenarios
- Produce principles for interaction and navigation
You and your competencies
As UX intern we expect you to be familiar with:
- Various methods within collecting insights on users
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint and basic HTML is a plus
- Graphical work and knowledge of e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator and alike
The successful intern will be able to demonstrate:
- Curiosity and passion for design thinking
- An absolute focus on the user
- The ability to spread the message on design thinking among colleagues
- Sees the potential of applying design methods to many different projects – not just web
- Eye for the details but also the ability to step back and see the bigger picture
- Ability to work independently
Join the Digital Business Transformation (DBT) department
As intern you will be a part of the Digital Business Transformation Department (DBT) who explore the potential in new technologies, develop ideas and concepts and help with organizational innovation, implementation and change management.
In DBT we believe in the importance of working in multidisciplinary teams, openly communicate and share ideas and involve users as much as possible in all phases of a project.
DBT has around 15 employees and close contact to the entire Ramboll organisation.
Conditions and details
The period is expected to be 4-6 months beginning in spring 2018, but with the possibility of prolongation or to become student assistant after end internship.
The position is without salary but includes lunch, laptop and office space in Ramboll Head office in Copenhagen/Ørestaden.
