Ramboll Foundation

The Ramboll Foundation is the main owner of the Ramboll Group and has as its main objective to promote the company’s continuance and the long-term development of the company, its employees and the communities it serves.

The Foundation is the majority shareholder in the Ramboll Group and owns more than 90% of the shares. The rest is owned by Ramboll employees.

Ensures focus on basic values

The main objective of the Ramboll Foundation is to be main owner of Ramboll Group, and through that, to promote the company's continuance and development, financially as well as commercially. The Foundation must at all times endeavour to ensure that the company maintains its basic values; high ethical standards, a sense of responsibility, and an awareness of its obligations to society.

Ramboll's ownership structure provides a unique opportunity to meet the increased focus on Corporate Responsibility (CR) and to strive to ensure that our services contribute to sustainable development that benefit people and society around the world.

Donations

It is important to the Foundation that Ramboll holds a leading position within technology and creativity. Therefore, the Foundation grants financial support to a number of research projects, studies and education in line with the development of the company. Below, a number of the projects which have received financial support from the Ramboll Foundation are listed.

1.  Research and development within steel and bridge constructions
